First Aid and CPR tip

posted by Victory Safety    |   November 25, 2014 20:23

Early recognition of a cardiovascular emergency is critical in survival of, and minimization of tissue death in a cardiovascular emergency. Do you know how to recognize conditions such as heart attack and/or stroke? During a heart attack a person may experience chest pain/ difficulty breathing, pain in the neck jaw or shoulder, abdominal or lower back pain, whereas with a stroke a person may experience a sudden severe unusual headache, blurred vision, weakness or paralysis on one or both sides of the body and difficulty speaking. Over the years one thing I've learned is emergencies are not always how the "text book" says they're supposed to be. To learn more about medical conditions register today for a standard first aid and CPR training at Victory Safety and Training.
